Usage & Applications:

1, in the field of water treatment

as the deoxidant of boiler water and oilfield flooding;

as antichlor for municipal and industrial water;

as the raw material for the production of sodium thiosulfate;

as the stabilizer of viscose acetal fibre;

as the bactericide of beer bottle.

2, in food industry: as bleaching agent, preservative, bulking agent, antioxidant and for the medicine synthesis

3, as analytical reagent, light dependent resistor materials and base solution of polarographic analysis

4, as antioxygen of cosmetics, mainly for hair dye cosmetics

5, as reducing agent of spice, dye and so on

6, in textile industry: as bleacher and deoxidier for fabric

7, in paper industry: as lignin removal agent

Properties:

White monoclinic system crystalline powder. Soluble in water, alkaline aqueous solution. Soluble in glycerin, insoluble in ethanol.

Use:

Medicine, used as salting-out agent, coagulant, also used in paper, glass, printing and dyeing, synthetic fiber, leather and other industries

Mainly used as synthetic detergent filling material. Papermaking industry used in the manufacture of sulfate pulp cooking agent. Glass industry to replace soda ash. Used for manufacturing sodium sulphide, sodium silicate and chemical industry raw materials of other chemical products. Textile industry is used to allocate vinylon spinning coagulation bath. Pharmaceutical industry is used as the delay evacuant. Also used in non-ferrous metallurgy, leather, etc.
