Product Description:
AS resin is a kind of thermoplastic made by copolymerization of styrene (St) and acrylonitrile (AN) monomers as raw materials. AS resin has excellent properties, excellent dimensional stability, electrical properties, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, dyeability, and good molding processing and mechanical processing.
Because AS resin has the above-mentioned good mechanical properties and chemical resistance, it is used in many industrial and chemical fields, such as the production of air-conditioning blades, fan blades, etc., and it is also used in automobiles. Automobile parts such as batteries and taillight covers, or industrial products such as instrument panels.
The scientific name of AS resin is acrylonitrile styrene copolymer. It is a polymer compound formed by copolymerization of acrylonitrile and styrene. Generally, it contains 15% -50% styrene. Transparent solid with yellow to amber needle color. Density 1.06. It has thermoplastic properties. Not easily discolored. Not affected by dilute acids, alkalis, alcohols, and gasoline. But soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethylene, etc. SAN plastic is an acrylonitrile styrene copolymer, belonging to the ethylene category. It is a common material and is easier to form plastic.
